Bedford Library Foundation Fall Gala: November 2

Bedford Library Foundation Fall Gala

Join the Bedford Public Library Foundation for their annual Fall Gala!

This year they are excited to welcome award-winning author Ana Hebra Flaster as their special guest speaker. Ana Hebra Flaster writes about Cuba and the Cuban American experience, with work featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and on her Substack, @CubaCurious. Her storytelling has also appeared on NPR and PBS. Her debut book, Property of the Revolution, has received multiple international honors, including the International Book Award and the Literary Global Book Award.

The gala starts at 5:30 on Sunday, November 2, with autumn-themed beverages, snacks and music before Ms. Flaster’s remarks. Tickets are $35 to support the Bedford Library Foundation and may be purchased beginning October 3.

Tickets may be purchased at the Library, or online.

The Library will also be running a special book group on October 29th to give our patrons a chance to read and discuss the book in advance.  Copies for book group registrants are available to pick up at the Reference Desk.  Sign up to participate via our online calendar.
